Boys 1st Easter

On the Saturday before Easter, Brett and I took Wesley and Easton to the Annual Schroeder Easter Party at Great Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder's house. They didn't really understand what was going on during the Easter Egg Hunt, but they got excited watching the bigger kids running around the yard trying to find the eggs. Next year that will be them.

Easter morning the boys woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come and brought them candy (that mom and dad had to eat ;)) and toys. They were so excited, mainly because we were excited, but it was so cute to watch them.

I am grateful for this time of year to reflect on the Atonement and the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for me. Also, to feel the peace and joy that comes from the knowledge that I too can be resurrected and receive the blessing of eternity.
